Up to the minute Official Emergency Closure Information:
www.schoolreport.org
In cases of extreme weather conditions and unsafe roads, the Three Cedars General Manager will call for school closure (usually following the schedule of the Bellevue School District). When delayed openings are called on the first day of extreme weather for Bellevue School District schools, all Three Cedars School programs will be CLOSED and cancelled for the FULL DAY, including School Tours, After School Care, and afternoon and evening meetings, including lectures and class nights.
It is our policy to close for the full day because so many of our teachers and families commute to school from areas with roads that remain unsafe beyond the late start window. Although some community members may experience little trouble at home, our area of Bellevue tends to be one of the iciest and we wish avoid unsafe conditions for students and teachers at and around the school.
Occasionally, Three Cedars will resume on a subsequent day, sooner than the Bellevue School District is prepared to reopen, when we are confident that the site and surrounding roads are truly ready for students and teachers.
Three Cedars is a member of the Public Schools Emergency Communications System (PSECS). Parents and visitors may find the Bellevue School District announcements listed at www.psecs.wednet.edu and www.schoolreport.org in the "Member District" section. Access permitting, Three Cedars will also post an individual school announcement at www.schoolreport.org in the "Member Private School" section.
School closure information is updated through PSECS, which is then accessed by numerous television and radio stations. You can hear closure information and messages by tuning in to a local TV or radio station (please see suggestions below).
Phone tree: enrolled families will be called each morning that school is closed
Please do not telephone the TV, radio stations or Bellevue School District Schools.
